Nerds Heart YA: the countdown is over!

Back in April when the School Library Journal unveiled their Battle of the Books tournament, I had a dream. With the help of a lot of awesome YA bloggers as well as book bloggers who simply want to read more YA, our tiny book tournament made up of titles we think that deserve more attention has come to fruition. We have judges, we have a bracket, we have a schedule, and now we’re going to start reading. It’s going to be super fun for us and have the added bonus of exposing some lesser-known YA titles to those that wouldn’t have seen them, otherwise.

Becky has all the information in her Presenting Nerds Heart YA introduction post. To follow along with our progress, we elected to have a Twitter account rather than start a new blog. We can be found at nerdsheartya on Twitter, or if you don’t have a Twitter account, our RSS feed.

Because they are awesome, I must link all our judges again. Thanks, guys, for making my idea feasible and fun. Book bloggers are fantastic, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

@ Chris No pressure or anything. ;)

@ Jodie I read some of the titles on the side from the library, but I’m going to buy the ones I need to support the authors. :D
