@ Mary Ann Don’t not read it on my account! I am so torn over this—the flaws make the characters real, but the consequences of those flaws weren’t dealt with and we kept being told, “This is just a confused guy! He is actually great!”

Mostly I want more people that read this book to come and disagree with me so I can work through my issues. *sob*

I saw this book at the bookstore on Saturday. I started reading it there in the store and wanted to finish it, but I didn’t end up buying it.
Dade Hamilton was also a Soap Opera Name to me. And Alex Kincaid? Why does Dade & Kincaid have to rhyme? Ech.
I think I will end up requesting it from the library anyway, just so there are no regrets, you know?

@libraryliz In the book there’s a play on words with their names. I sometimes wonder if the author did it on purpose. :)

I think it would be good if the library had it! I am excited for more GLBTQ YA books to be present on the shelves.

GLBTQ YA was what made me pick this book off the shelf. I am an L and would love to see more peeps(well, ok teens, I’m way past my teens!) like me in books, you know?
Anyway, I’m writing out a card for it right now & submitting the title to my public library – maybe someone will purchase it! Hmm..maybe I’ll buy it & donate!
