I have three RSS feeds.
Excuse me? you ask, why do you have three? That seems a little excessive. It is! I do nothing by half. I’ve got my brass ovaries on and I’m claiming three RSS feeds. Let me explain:
feedburner.com/renay
This is my Dreamwidth RSS feed. You’re seeing one of my Dreamwidth posts to your left there. I post all my reviews there. I post my YA reviews there and here (although here some time after there), because this is my YA review archive because I love YA most of all and wanted to give it a special home. I also post commentary about life music books politics food work fanfiction polls erotica philosophical ramblings there as well. It’s not a book blog and it will never be a book blog. It is a journal that contains book reviews.
yafabulous
This is the feed to the site you’re viewing now, the column that appears to the right on whatever page you’re viewing. Sometimes I post non-review entries here, like when I want people to do something for me like take part in a complicated book tournament. >.> The YA reviews I mentioned in the previous paragraph will appear here as well. That’s about it!
what a delicious combination
This feed combines the above feeds with one specific difference: it does not include the reviews posted on YA Fabulous! That means if you add it, you won’t see the reviews posted on this site, but you will see them posted via my journal. You’ll see all the other content I post here minus the reviews. Because I post the YA reviews in two places, I’ve stripped any post from this RSS feed with “Review” in the title; this was the simplest way to make sure people watching this feed didn’t see all my YA reviews twice. They’ll eventually show up on the site, they just won’t be available via RSS.
Choose one, but don’t choose all. I don’t even like myself that much.
